So the home Wi-Fi went down tonight and my Samsung is stuck in standby. I can’t find the original remote, and I’m wondering if there’s any quick way to power it on with just a phone. My Android has NFC and all that, but I’m not sure about IR. I’d prefer not to mess with the router at midnight. Has anyone actually turned it on from a phone when the set isn’t online, or is that only possible once the network is back?
